With calculated gains in online and in-store traffic, the holiday season causes the challenge of balancing inventory and sales and guaranteeing you are sufficiently staffed to deal with an inrush of customers. And with unemployment graph dipping below 4 percent; finding expertise that will help you ramp up effectiveness in time for the rush could be challenging.

Start the hiring process ASAP

Seasonal staff isn’t always easy to come by, but the good members will be an excellent addition to your team if you are able to offer them more work once the holiday over-trafficking is over. If you are not able to renew the deal that way, provide them a competitive wage and rewards or incentives for meeting specific goals or reaching relevant milestones. And remember, always give new workers, no matter how temporary, a warm welcome.
